The Fraternal Order of Police has a civilian affiliate; “Associate Members”. Our members are friends and families of law enforcement officers, responsible and respected business persons, professional men and women, and citizens from all walks of life. Its people willing to devote a portion of their time and efforts toward assisting the various law enforcement agencies of our communities, states and nation.
The FOP is a non-partisan organization, without regard to race, creed, color, or religious beliefs. We are part of a National Organization with State and Local Lodges throughout the nation. The FOP's interests revolve around law enforcement and the men and women that have dedicated their lives to the protection of others. The FOP actively supports legislation and all law enforcement efforts on a local state and national level.
Associate Membership is available
We invite those interested in the issues and topics we focus our efforts on to join. Members must be able to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the organization.
There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are close friends and we get together for activity's and have a great time together, of course we also have a common interest and we hope to further our cause.
Associate Membership in Thomas Pangborn Lodge #88 shall be defined as any responsible citizen, with no criminal record, and upon the recommendation of at least one (1) active member in good standing in the Lodge, who shall contribute twenty dollars ($20.00), and receive the approval of the membership of the Lodge, shall be enrolled as an Associate member of the Lodge. Five dollars ($5.00) of this contribution shall go to the Lodge Death Benefit Fund.
Associate members shall, thereafter, pay an annual fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00), whereupon an annual membership card shall be issued to such member.
Any “Associate member” convicted of a criminal offense or who shows disloyalty or disrespect to this Lodge or any of its members, by actions or conversations, as judged by the membership shall have their membership in Lodge 88 revoked”. shall forfeit their rights in this Lodge and shall have their membership revoked.
Associate membership cards shall only be issued by the Treasurer and/or the Assistant Treasurer and only after the proposed member has been investigated and approved.
